Reading Time: < 1 minuteVietnam Airlines has received the third Boeing 787-10 which at the same time marked the delivery of the 100th aircraft to the fleet of the carrier.
The airline expressed its great satisfaction with the operational efficiency of the two first Boeing 787-10 planes which performed over 140 flights with approximately 83,000 passengers on the Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam – Korea routes.
By the end of 2021 Vietnam Airlines expects to operate already eight Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners.
Now Vietnam Airlines is the biggest airline in Vietnam by the size of the fleet. In addition to this, the carrier owns the second-largest wide-body Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 fleet in Southeast Asia (14 Airbus A350-900s, 11 Boeing 787-9 and 3 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners).
