Air Canada Readies to Take First Canadian-Made A220-300 Aircraft

Air Canada is about to receive the first Canadian-made Airbus A220-300 aircraft, which has just rolled out from the painting hangar at the A220 final assembly line in Mirabel.

The aircraft, designed  in a 137-seat dual-class cabin layout, is expected to join the airline in December. Now, after being painted into the color of the Canadian carrier, the aircraft will have some pre-flight activities in the A220 flight line hangar in Mirabel. Afterward the plane is scheduled to take off for its first flight later this month.

According to Airbus orders & deliveries sheet, Air Canada has an order for 45 Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
