Airbus Logs Zero Cancellations and No New Orders in May

During the last month of spring Airbus reported it received no new bookings and suffered no cancellations. For the year 2020, gross orders of the European planemaker stand at 365 aircraft and net orders – at 299 aircraft.

Although the front of orders stands still, Airbus is making further progress with aircraft deliveries. During May Airbus handed over 24 planes from the A220, A320 and A350 XWB aircraft families.

The following deliveries were made: two A220-300 to Air Canada and 18 A320 Family aircraft including the first A320neo to Wizz Air.

For Airbus widebody aircraft, four A350 XWBs were provided in both A350-900 (Air France and Lufthansa Technik) and A350-1000 (Etihad Airways and British Airways) configurations.
