Another set of speculations has been brought to an end. Boeing is officially pushing back the first delivery of its new 777X aircraft until 2022.
Due to the impacts of COVID-19, the launch customer of the 777-9 – Emirates – will receive its initial wide-body one year later than planned, in 2022.
The 777/777X combined production rate will be gradually reduced to 2 per month in 2021.
