The Cypriot airline Cobalt Air has cancelled all its flights and indefinitely suspended operations, advising customers not to go to the airport.

Cobalt failed to secure funding and was forced to announce the suspension of its operation at midnight Wednesday.

The carrier’s website is now down and simply displays a message alerting users to its collapse.

“Cobalt regrets to announce that it will be cancelling all Flights as of 23:50pm on October 17, 2018 due to indefinite suspension of Cobalt’s operations,” said the statement.

Cobalt’s failure comes just weeks after Primera Air collapsed leaving thousands stranded abroad.
