Fiji Airways is one step closer to receiving its first Airbus A350-900 aircraft which has already left the paint shop wearing the airline’s livery.
The plane will be handed to Fiji Airways by the aircraft leasing company Dubai Aerospace Enterprises. The brand new A350 is due to join airline’s fleet in Q4 of 2019, after all the assembly processes are completed, engines installed and ground as well as flight tests carried out.
The aircraft will be configured with 33 full lie-flat Business Class and 301 Economy Class seats. Fiji Airways plans to deploy it on existing long-haul routes in the South-Pacific region and later on open up new destinations.
