FL Technics To Supply Spares For APAC Carriers

Lithuania’s FL Technics will provide component spares for a number of Asia-Pacific airlines along with one of the region’s largest maintenance providers following approval.

The likes of Asiana Airlines, AirAsia X, Nok Air, Bangkok Airways, and T’way Airlines and Indonesian MRO GMF AeroAsia have all approved FL Technics to provide the services from its warehouse locations in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

FL Technics said it is well placed to cover the carriers and the maintenance provider with 24/7 coverage due to its spare parts support team in Bangkok as well as an AOG desk at its home base in Vilnius.

The approval mainly covers parts supply for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft, but also covers other Boeing and Airbus jets.

Asia-Pacific has proved a major growth area for FL Technics, with the company stating its part sales in the region have increased tenfold in the past two years.

And following the spare parts approval, FL Technics CEO Zilvinas Lapinskas said it has ambitions to eventually become an MRO, training and engineering partner for the airlines.
