Reading Time: < 1 minuteA Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-800, performing a flight from Sharjah, UAE, to Istanbul, Turkey, with 169 people on board, has skidded off the runway on landing, reportedly, due to heavy rainfall.
The incident forced a temporary halt of operations at the second biggest airport in Istanbul, Sabiha Gokcen International Airport.

On its official website the airline confirmed the occurrence providing that “all passengers and cabin crew have been disembarked safely from the aircraft. There has been no loss of life or injury to anyone on-board”.
The investigation into the incident has been launched.
