A PIA ATR 72 collided with a parked Shaheen Air International Boeing 737-400 at the Jinnah International Airport. The ATR engine was being given a run-up during an examination at a hanger, when the ATR ran forward.

• Its left propeller and engine struck the forward fuselage of another aircraft.
• The technician present in the cockpit could not keep control over the plane which rushed and hit another plane parked at the airport.
• There were no injuries reported.
• The situation was under control and an investigation had been launched into the accident.
