Netflights.com, a part of the Gold Medal Travel Group, has ranked 25 world’s busiest airports to find out which is the best in terms of wellness.

In most cases airports are associated with stress, hurry, endless checks, etc. Nevertheless, nowadays the scope of activities and things to see/do/enjoy at airport has extend far beyond passport control boards, check-in points or boarding areas. And these are not only duty free shops or coffee stores.

The title of the best in this category went to Frankfurt Airport, Germany. One of the busiest airports in Europe offers SPA services, dedicated spaces for meditation, relaxation or simply quiet stay. Also, yoga-lovers could enjoy their favourite activity in the yoga class. For those, who prefer waiting for their flight surrounded by the greenery, the airport offers outdoor or green spaces.

Modern airports care about health of their passengers. Although people might still experience stress people while handling technical matters of their flights, there are a lot of possibilities to get well-rested even before reaching the holidays destination.

Netflights.com explained that they “analysed a range of factors, from massage access and spas, to meditation areas and gyms, to find the best airport for wellness”. The final score was calculated depending on the amount and quality of facilities in the 25 airports. Finally, the aviation hubs were ranked according to their score.
