A Ryanair Boeing 737-800, performing flight from Frankfurt Hahn (Germany) to Bari (Italy), gear strut penetrated wing during retraction.

Aircraft was climbing out of Hahn Airport’s runway 21 when the crew selected the gear up but did not receive indication the gear came up properly.
The crew stopped the climb at FL100 and returned to Frankfurt Hahn for a safe landing on runway 21 about 40 minutes after departure.
