Ryanair has confirmed it will take delivery of its first of 110 B737 MAX 200s on firm order from Boeing in April 2019.

The Irish LCC said in its latest 3QFY18 results that it had also agreed to purchase up to 210 (110 firm and 100 options) B737 Max 200 aircraft from Boeing during the periods from 2019 to 2023; these include ten additional firm orders announced in June 2017 which will see aircraft deliveries increase by 5 in both spring 2019 and spring 2020.

Ryanair also added that it expects its Ryanair UK (London Stansted) unit to secure its UK AOC by September of this year.
