Airline and Airport Punctuality Statistics of 2015

CNN has just published the airline and airport punctuality statistics for 2015, based on OAG data.

Not surprisingly, the Japanese airports and airlines score very well in that ranking.

A nice surprise is to see CRL as number 2, right behind Osaka, for the small airports. Congratulations!

For airline punctuality, for the second year running the low cost airline airBaltic has been ranked as the world’s best at timekeeping with an average of 94.39% of flights staying within 15 minutes of schedule.

The most punctual airlines are:

Brazil’s Azul (91.03%),
Japan Airlines (90.44%),
All Nippon Airways (89.65%),
Finnair (89.52%),

LOT-Polish Airlines (88.88%).
