FlightSafety International announces that training for the Gulfstream G650™ aircraft will be offered at its Learning Center located at the Farnborough airport in the United Kingdom. Training is expected to begin in March 2017 following Level D qualification of the simulator.

This will be the fourth training location and fifth simulator for Gulfstream G650. Two simulators for the aircraft are installed at the FlightSafety Learning Center in Savannah, Georgia. The others are in service in Long Beach, California and Wilmington, Delaware.

“Expanding training for the Gulfstream G650 to Farnborough is another example of FlightSafety’s commitment to provide our Customers with the conveniently located resources they require,” said Daniel MacLellan, Senior Vice President, Operations. “We work closely with Gulfstream to ensure that the availability of G650 training is in line with the growing demand for the aircraft, and that the courses and flight simulators reflect the exact operating characteristics of the aircraft.”

The new FlightSafety FS1000 simulator being built for the Gulfstream G650 will feature the latest advances in technology including the VITAL 1100 visual system.

FlightSafety has been the official factory authorized training organization for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation for more than four decades. Training for the complete line of Gulfstream aircraft is delivered by FlightSafety’s highly experienced and qualified instructors. They provide a wide variety of courses for pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians, flight attendants and dispatchers using close to 30 full flight simulators as well as other advanced training devices and equipment.

Training for Gulfstream aircraft is available at FlightSafety Learning Centers in Columbus, Ohio; Dallas, Texas; Hong Kong; Long Beach, California; Savannah, Georgia; Wilmington, Delaware; and at the London Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom.

The Farnborough Learning Center currently offers training for the Gulfstream G550.

The Center also provides training for the Beechcraft Beechjet 400A and King Air 100, King Air 200; Cessna Citation Bravo, Citation CJ2, Citation Excel, Citation Mustang, Citation Sovereign, and Citation XLS/XLS+; Hawker 400XP, Hawker 750/800/Hawker 800XP/850XP/900XP; and Sikorsky S-92.
