Reading Time: < 1 minuteEuropean conglomerate Airbus has announced its monthly performance results sharing the increase in deliveries over the same period of 2018. During eight months of 2019 the aircraft manufacturer has delivered 500 planes, 66 more than in 2018.
The deliveries of the year 2019 divided as follows: 400 single-aisle aircraft (207 units of the A320neo), 40 Airbus A330s (23 A330-900s), 65 Airbus A350 planes (52 of the A350-900 model) and five Airbus A380s.
Meanwhile, in August airframer handed over 42 aircraft to 29 customers. Deliveries were lead Airbus A320neo product line: 19 units out of 42.
Front of Orders
In terms of orders, in the period of eight months Airbus secured 262 gross orders. However, considering all the cancellations (167 aircraft), the planemaker has a total of 95 net orders as of 31 August, 2019.
The single-aisle A320 Family logged 16 orders in August for its NEO versions.
