Reading Time: < 1 minuteFor Airbus September appeared to be busy. Or at least busier than the previous month. The European planemaker succeeded in securing 41 orders and delivering 71 aircraft.
In terms of deliveries, Airbus handed its single-aisle and widebody planes to 42 customers in total. 48 out of 71 planes were the aircraft of the A320 Family (40 in the NEO configuration and eight CEO versions).
Also, Airbus delivered seven single-aisle A220s, along with 16 wide-body aircraft composed of four A330s (three in the NEO configuration, and 1 CEO) and 12 A350-900/A350-1000 versions of the A350 XWB, says the statement on its website.
What concerns orders, a total of 41 Airbus aircraft were booked in September. Five were placed on order by AerCap, commitment for 10 A321neos, 10 A220-100s and four A220-300s came from three undisclosed customers. While the last airline to secure 12 A330-900s was Air Asia X.
