Reading Time: < 1 minuteSome minor aircraft damages happen even when planes are empty and most of them are put into hibernation. British Airways Airbus A350-1000 and Emirates Boeing 777-300ER were involved in ground accident in Dubai.
Most probably, the BA’s A350 was being pushed back and getting ready to depart from the Dubai International Airport when it struck, or was struck by, the Emirates aircraft and got its left-hand horizontal stabilizer damaged.
The BA’s plane arrived from London on 13 April, while Emirates’ widebody arrived from Riyadh. Circumstances of the accident are under investigation. No injuries were reported.
