Reading Time: < 1 minuteWiz Air has announced it will open a new base in Lviv, Ukraine, on 1 July, 2020. It would be the first in Lviv and the second in Ukraine.
The airline said that the new base at Danylo Halytskyi International Airport will become a home to one Airbus A320 aircraft.
Apart from that, one of the biggest European low-cost carriers revealed it will launch five new routes from Lviv (to Billund, Tallinn, Lisbon, Hamburg and Szczecin) and open two new services from Kharkiv (to Tallinn and Berlin), bringing the amount of the new routes in Ukraine up to seven.
Among the majority highly troubled airlines, Wizz Air one of a few which is confidently moving forward to further develop its business.
In order to ensure safe travel, the airline has implemented a number of safety measures including online bookings, check-ins, seat distancing where possible and even more.
