While fleet grounding news comes hard, each ungrounding case adds extra positive sparkles. Finally, after almost three months, Emirates put back into service its iconic Airbus A380 jets.

Following the ”inaugural” flight to London Heathrow, the carrier said it will deploy world’s biggest passenger aircraft on the daily Amsterdam service, and add a second daily A380 service to London Heathrow starting from 1 August.

The second ”long time, no see” Airbus A380 flight departed to Paris, France. At Paris Charles De Gaulle the flight was welcomed in a special way due to the fact that it became “the first and only scheduled A380 flight to operate at this major European airport since the pandemic began”.

Currently, Emirates fleet contains 114 Airbus A380s. Return of the entire fleet, most probably, will be rather slow. Not to omit the fact that the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) still has eight planes of the type on order.
