Reading Time: < 1 minuteA Yakutia Airlines plane en route from Yakutsk, the capital of Russia’s Sakha (Yakutia) Republic, to the the settlement of Chokurdakh in the north of the region, has returned to the airport of departure because of the malfunction of one of its engines, no one was injured, the air carrier’s press service informed TASS on Friday.
“The plane that flew to Chokurdakh had to return to the Yakutsk airport because of the malfunction of one of its engines. It landed safely, no one was injured,” the press service said, adding that a commission has been set up to look into the causes of the incident.
