Reading Time: < 1 minuteAfter nearly 30 years of service, British Airways has retired the last of its Boeing 767 aircraft. On Sunday, 25 November, 2018, the iconic airline’s plane performed the last commercial flight from Larnaca in Cyprus to Heathrow.
- It is estimated that particularly this aircraft has carried around 4 million customers across nearly 23,000 flights.
- The first British Airways Boeing 767 aircraft took off for a first flight in February 1990 on a short hop to Paris. Since then airline’s 767 aircraft have competed more than 425,000 commercial flights.
- Initially fleet of these planes was utilized for long-haul operations, however, in recent years it has been reconfigured for use on short-haul.
