Charlotte, North Carolina-based FlyRight, a training provider for the Beechcraft King Air, has announced that it will expand its facilities and add seven full-motion simulators next year, an expansion that will allow the company to also include more airplane types to its training program. In addition to the new simulators, FlyRight will add additional training equipment, classroom space, office space and client break areas.
The company also announced it is now offering Part 135 checks as part of its initial and recurrent training for King Air 300/350 operators. The training is conducted in FlyRight’s level-D King Air 350 simulator. The sim is equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics and a 200-degree visual system that incorporates weather, terrain and traffic capabilities.
In addition, FlyRight has added commuter category checking capabilities for its level-C King Air 200 program. With the Centex Aerospace Halo 250 IGW Conversion STC, the qualification covers a max gross weight of 13,420 pounds.
FlyRight has been operating its training facilities at the Concord Regional Airport since 2003.
“Our customers learn from instructors who have actual operational experience in the aircraft, are ATP rated and average 11,000 hours of flight time and more than eight years of instructional experience,” said Andy Bauer, sales manager at FlyRight.
