Aeros Flight Training has entered into a partnership agreement with Global ATS (Air Training Services) to provide flight training for trainee air traffic controllers.
The training programme, which began in December 2015, will be provided by Aeros at Gloucestershire Airport.
“The programme calls for batches of trainees to go through a range of our pilot training courses,” says Jules Cameron, Operations Manager at Aeros Flight Training’s Gloucester base. “The aim is that real flying experience will make for better all round on-the-job skills as traffic controllers.”
Aeros provides commercial pilot training courses for students keen to develop an airline flying career, or for those wanting to become instructors. With a mixed fleet of over forty aircraft, not only are students able to sample a variety of flying experiences, but also the Company is able to offer ‘self-fly’ qualified pilots a wide choice of aircraft.
