Air France said that it plans to operate at 65% capacity of 2019’s level in July and August, compared to 40% in May. This summer, it will serve almost 200 destinations worldwide, including more than 110 destinations in its home country, Europe and North Africa.
Air France will operate 81 seasonal routes (including 23 new ones) in addition to its usual network. On long-haul routes, the airline will operate up to 3 flights per day to Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Fort-de-France (Martinique) and Saint-Denis de la Réunion on departure from Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
The Air France maintenance teams are intensively working to bring ten medium-haul and 12 long-haul aircraft out of storage to support the frequencies improvement. In total, 181 Air France aircraft will be in service this summer.
