BAA Training Has the Widest Full Flight Simulator Network in Europe

BAA Training, one of the biggest aviation training centres in Northern Europe, now has more aviation training locations than ever before. It is able to provide training solutions for 18 types of aircraft on 54 Full Flight Simulators located in 27 places over Europe, North and South Americas, Africa and Asia.

The IATA 20-year Air Passenger Forecast shows that airlines expect to see a 3.7% annual Compound Average Growth Rate (CAGR) within the defined period. IATA expects 7.2 billion passengers to travel in 2035, a near doubling of the 3.8 billion air travellers in 2016. Over 50% of this growth will be in Asia Pacific.

The five fastest-growing markets in terms of additional passengers per year over the forecast period will be China, United States, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Thus, BAA Training is determined to meet this impressive growth together with its customers, who are going to expand the scope of their business in the near future. A wide network of full flight simulators offers BAA Training customers more convenient training solutions in more places, maintaining the same high-quality standards as at the Headquarters in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Almost 700 pilots acquired Type Rating at BAA Training and close to 20,000 hours on FFSs were used in 2016. In addition, the aviation academy has added 70 new names to its list of instructors over the past year. The list consists of more than 250 professional pilots and experts of aviation training. Most of them willingly provide Airbus A320, Boeing 737, Embraer 170/190 type rating, Flight Dispatcher, Cabin Crew training.
