Due to insurance concerns about a potential Russian invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian Bees Airline has moved its four leased Boeing 737-800s from Ukraine to France.

“According to the lessor, all aircraft will be returned to us in the event of de-escalation of the military risk situation. (…) Owing to these circumstances of ‘force majeure’ we ask all passengers to be aware of possible delays and schedule changes,” states Bees.

Bees are not the only Ukrainian operator that sent its aircraft elsewhere due to insurance concerns. Indeed, none other than national flag carrier Ukraine International Airlines has found itself in a similar situation.
