It has finally happened. After nearly four-month pause, Boeing has resumed production of 737 MAX aircraft. Although at low rates, but new planes will born again.

By saying that production rates will be low, Boeing did not specify how many planes will be produced per month exactly. Nevertheless, now while building a new plane Boeing “implements more than a dozen initiatives focused on enhancing workplace safety and product quality”.

“We’ve been on a continuous journey to evolve our production system and make it even stronger,” said Walt Odisho, vice president and general manager of the 737 program. “These initiatives are the next step in creating the optimal build environment for the 737 MAX.”

In a statement the planemaker has revealed that during the temporary production halt its “mechanics and engineers collaborated to refine and standardize work packages in each position of the factory”.

The 737 MAX aircraft still remains grounds all around the globe following the fatal crash of Ethiopian Airlines in March, 2019.
