Reading Time: < 1 minuteMontreal-based flight-simulator manufacturer CAE has extended pilot training agreements with Norwegian Airlines and Spanish carrier Air Europa.
CAE’s extended agreement with Norwegian now includes CAE instructor-led training for Boeing 737NGs. Pilots began training in October at CAE’s training centers in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo, CAE said.
CAE renewed its agreement with Air Europa, updating the contract for Boeing 787 pilot training. CAE said it will deploy a new 787 full-flight simulator (FFS) to an unspecified location in the company’s European training network. The 787 FFS will be ready to train Air Europa pilots in starting in 2018, CAE said.
In addition to the 787 FFS, CAE announced it will place new full-flight simulators at training centers in Amsterdam (which will receive an Airbus A320 FFS) and Madrid (an ATR-600 FFS).
