Dnata has signed a three-year deal to provide full ground handling services to China’s XiamenAir.
The deal will cover the 260 annual Dreamliner flights to Syndey’s main airport that XiamenAir announced last month, including the thrice-weekly service from Fuzhou Changle International Airport, and the twice-weekly service from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport.
Dnata currently serves 17 airlines in Australia, handles more than 29,000 flights, 5 million passengers and 220,000 tonnes of cargo.
“We are delighted to partner with XiamenAir as they expand operations to Australia for the first time. We are committed to providing the airline and their customers with the very best in service and look forward to a multi-year partnership,” said Daniela Marsilli, CEO, dnata Australia.
In addition to XiamenAir, dnata is also the major supplier of ground handling to three Chinese carriers in Australia, including China Eastern China Southern and Sichuan Airlines.
