UPDATED: Flight to Tel Aviv Makes an Emergency Landing in Munich

A scheduled flight from Dusseldorf to Tel Aviv by ST Germania Airlines was forced to make an emergency landing in Munich on Thursday morning.

The flight landed safely and there were no initial reports of injuries.

Flight ST 6256 left Dusseldorf at 6:15 Thursday morning, 15 minutes later than scheduled.

Shortly into the flight, the Airbus 321-22 declared an emergency and was forced to land at Munich airport.

Germania is a privately owned airline headquartered in Berlin. It operates low-cost flights to a number of destinations in the Middle East including Tel Aviv. The airline operates a total of 22 aircraft.

Germania flight ST6256 landed in Munich today because of a medical issue. A senior person was brought in a hospital. With this delay the plane departured again and arrived Tel Aviv 13:07 local time.
