The Xiamen-based HAECO subsidiary said the milestone is a significant step in the development of its capability as the landing gear ship set for the -300ER variant is “vastly different” in terms of design to other 777 models.
Despite facing challenges, HAECO said it delivered the aircraft ahead of schedule.
Lutz Wierschin, general manager, HAECO Landing Gear Services, said: “We focus on on-time delivery and remain versatile in improving work processes with the aim of shortening turnaround time, which is critical and beneficial to our airline customers.”
The company also revealed it is currently performing its third ship set of Boeing 777-300ER landing gear overhaul.
