Spanish airline Iberia asks its followers on social media to vote for one of the seven summer destinations it considers flying to this summer. The fans on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram will be able to choose Iberia’s 113th summer route.

The carrier has announced earlier its 112 summer destinations and now expects the public to choose another one from the following available options: Bastia in France; Ljubljana in Slovenia; three Greek cities; Portugal’s the Azores; or Fez in Morocco. All participants helping Iberia to make up its mind on the 113th destination will also enter a draw for two roundtrip tickets to the chosen destination.

This unusual move reveals that the uncertainties surrounding the summer season exist. Although the European Commission promises a digital health passport to arrive and be available in time, tourism-dependent countries still are not convinced that the last year’s scenario will not repeat.
