Jet Aviation’s Dubai facility has secured approvals from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its non-destructive testing (NDT) shop. The MRO provider has introduced non-destructive testing as part of its maintenance service portfolio upon receiving FAA approval for its NDT shop.

With these new approvals, Jet Aviation Dubai is authorized to provide florescent penetrant testing, ultrasonic testing and eddy current testing to all aircraft registered in the U.S., Europe and the UAE.

We are delighted to expand our NDT testing capabilities to offer support to EASA– and GCAA-registered aircraft operating in the Middle East and Southeast Asia,” said Hardy Butschi, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Dubai. “In a fast-paced industry such as aviation, NDT technologies help identify latent issues and are an integral part of business jet maintenance. Our in-house NDT capabilities enable us to provide these services seamlessly, which further helps reduce the downtime of our customers’ aircraft.”
