KLM has carried 30.4 million passengers last year – a new record. This is an increase of 6.4% compared to 2015.

The increase was highest on European routes (7.8%), where we carried more than 20 million passengers for the first time. Load factor rose slightly by 0.8 of a percentage point compared to 2015.

At KLM Cargo traffic was down 9.8% and capacity down 8.3%. We saw a slight improvement in December, which may be a sign that the tide is changing.
