Magnetic MRO has just opened a dedicated training center near its maintenance facilities in Tallinn, Estonia, to serve a variety of industry needs. The MRO says the close proximity to its maintenance facilities will enable hands-on and practical experience in addition to theoretical training.

“The demand for high quality training has been growing and this triggered Magnetic MRO to continue increasing its course portfolio,” says Magnetic MRO CEO Risto Mäeots. “It was a natural step for us to move into dedicated and bigger premises. Well-trained specialists are the backbone of our industry.”

The 255 sq. meter, two classroom facility is structured based on Part-147 requirements. The classrooms are equipped with theoretical training materials, including short-range interactive projectors installed directly to the wall.

Magnetic MRO has been providing a variety of training courses since 2016, ranging from specialized engine and aircraft sheet metal training to workshops for brakes, batteries, wheels and more. According to the MRO, some of the courses that have had the highest demand recently include EASA Part-147 Type Training courses for Airbus, Boeing and CRJ aircraft, specialized training courses for borescope inspection, and engine familiarization courses for CFM56-3/5/7, IAE V2500 and PW100 engine series.
