Reading Time: < 1 minuteThe National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA) continues to set the aircraft sales pace by representing 50% of the pre-owned business jet transaction market worth $9.5 Billion in 2015 (per JETNET).
NARA Broker and Dealer members represent just 5% of the more than 1000 aircraft brokers worldwide, but have continued to thrive with honesty, transparency and integrity for more than 25 years and are now responsible for half of all the pre-owned business jet sales.
Johnny Foster, NARA Chairman and President & CEO of OGARAJETS commented:
“I am proud to represent the best and the brightest group of aircraft sales professionals as well as our growing number of Products and Services Members. We founded NARA with just 12 members, and now we boast nearly 100. We have not only survived multiple economic challenges but our Broker and Dealer membership continues to dominate the pre-owned business jet sales market. The NARA website consistently showcases more than 400 NARA aircraft listings as well as our new video, designed to educate aircraft buyers about the advantages of working with a NARA Certified Broker/Dealer”.
The aircraft broker/dealer community has no license requirements to conduct transactions, and it can be difficult for aircraft buyers to know who they can trust when it comes to purchasing, selling, financing or maintaining a business jet, especially in today’s market. This why the National Aircraft Resale Association was created. Member companies must follow a strict NARA Code of Ethics, and the Broker/Dealer members must pass a rigorous certification process to assure the highest standards when buying and selling previously owned aircraft.
As part of a continuing education requirement, NARA Certified Brokers and Dealers also participate in industry seminars and workshops to enhance their market intelligence and learn the latest about aircraft values and business aviation trends.
