Aircraft was accelerating for takeoff from Williamsport’s Lycoming County Airport when the crew rejected takeoff after the aircraft struck a deer on the runway. The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.
The flight was cancelled. The airport reported the aircraft sustained minor damage but needed a thorough check after a striking a deer on the runway. The deer likely had jumped the airport perimeter fence and did not survive the contact with the aircraft.
