• Aircraft landed on Spokane’s runway 03 when the crew of another aircraft reported seeing sparks coming from the landing aircraft.
• Tower immediately dispatched emergency services. The aircraft slowed without further incident and stopped on the runway.
• The airport was closed for about 30 minutes until the secondary runway was ready for operation.
• The airport’s main runway remained closed for about 90 minutes until the aircraft could be towed off the runway and a runway inspection was completed.
