The coronavirus pandemic has an immense impact on the aviation sector,  and today affects the European Flight Academy belonging to the Lufthansa Group. The flight school announced that all the training operations are on hold, as a conservative estimate until December 31st, 2020.

The European Flight Academy also has informed that no further recruiting steps will take place for the moment.

This week Lufthansa Group announced, that medium-term fleet planning will be adjusted and currently foresees a permanent, Group-wide capacity reduction of 150 aircraft by the middle of this decade.
