Wizz Air Cuts Two Scandinavian Destinations from Its Winter Itinerary

Two Wizz Air routes from Belgrade, Serbia, will probably be canceled this winter. It has suspended ticket sales on services from the Serbian capital to Vaxjo and Sandefjord. This year’s last flights to the two cities are on October 1 and 2, respectively.

The airline canceled the two flights between Scandinavia and Serbia because it predicted a significant drop in demand for this route during the cold winter months. Wizz Air launched the route connecting Sandefjord and Belgrade in July 2020.
