Reading Time: < 1 minuteAirbus has delivered the first A350-900 to Aeroflot, the flag carrier of Russia. The member of the SkyTeam alliance has also become the launch operator of the type in Eastern Europe and CIS.
The Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines powered widebody features a three-class cabin layout with 316 seats. According to a statement, the plane will be deployed on a number of routes from Moscow to, for example, London, Dubai, New York, Miami, Osaka and Beijing.
Currently, Aeroflot operates the fleet of 126 Airbus aircraft, including 107 A320 Family and 19 A330 Family aircraft. What concerns the A350 type, the carrier has a total of 22 A350-900 aircraft on order.
