The first Boeing 737 MAX aircraft fuselages produced for Malta Air, Ryanair’s subsidiary, have been spotted leaving the production line in Renton, Washington. These spotted aircraft are part of the Ryanair Group’s order for 210 Boeing 737 MAX airplanes.

The two fuselages of Boeing 737 MAX destined for Malta Air have been spotted by Twitter’s AeroimagesChris, who posts under Woody’s Aeroimages. The absence of liveries does not prevent us from realizing the aircraft will eventually join Malta Air’s fleet. The preprinted rudders and split wingtips help to identify that.

All Malta Air‘s Boeing 737s come from its parent company Ryanair where they were delivered in the LCC’s livery. Ryanair did not consider it necessary to repaint the aircraft to feature Malta Air’s identification mark. However, while applying finishing touches to the new aircraft, it does not make any difference cost-wise which paint scheme to use. Therefore, the new aircraft will be with Malta Air’s livery.
