BOC Aviation Reports 99% Of Its Owned Fleet Is Leased Out

BOC Aviation, a Singapore-based airplane lessor, continues to grow its fleet. Currently, 99% of its owned fleet is leased out. Currently, only nine out of 420 company’s aircraft are not leased.

In total, it has over 100 Airbus A320ceos, over 80 A320neos, close to 20 A330s – current engine and new engine options, as well as nine A350s. As for the Boeing types, it has almost 90 from the 737 NG family, 40 737 MAXs, 25 Triple Sevens, and 21 787s. Meanwhile, the company has another 113 aircraft on order.

During the third quarter of 2021, the Singapore-based lessor executed a total of 38 transactions:

  • Took delivery of nine aircraft (including one acquired by an airline customer on delivery)
  • Sold two owned aircraft
  • Signed 27 lease commitments

It has a customer base of 88 airlines in 38 countries and regions in the owned and managed portfolios.
