Ryanair, Europe’s favourite airline celebrated its 5 year anniversary at Vilnius Airport since it began operations in 2011.

This summer Ryanair offers Vilnius customers a choice of 15 routes including Barcelona, Dublin, London Stansted & London Luton, Madrid, Milan Bergamo and Rome Ciampino.

Ryanair celebrated this 5 year milestone at Vilnius Airport by releasing seats for sale across its European network, at prices starting from €19.99 for travel in May.

“Our cooperation with Ryanair has developed significantly over the past years – the airline, having started its operation at Kaunas airport 10 years ago, now operates 26 routes from all three Lithuanian airports. With the successfully operating base in Kaunas, the company plans to open its second base in Lithuania at Vilnius airport in autumn this year. This new development will further expand travelling options for Lithuanian passengers and will contribute to the growing numbers of incoming tourism.” Commercial Director of Lithuanian Airports Jūratė Baltrušaitytė said.

“Ryanair is delighted to celebrate its 5 year anniversary at Vilnius Airport. Over the last 5 years Ryanair has seen an increasing demand for its routes at Vilnius Airport as customers in Lithuania snap up Ryanair’s lowest fares to Europe’s top destinations including Barcelona, Dublin, London Stansted and London Luton, Madrid, Milan Bergamo and Rome Ciampino.” Ryanair’s Sales & Marketing Manager, Hans Jorgen Elnaes, said.
